Obviously I have not read this book yet, since its release is scheduled for August.

Here is an article summarizing O'neill's views on Kerry:

WSJ ARTICLE HERE (http://www.opinionjournal.com/editorial/feature.html?id=110005036)

I'm putting it up here because I know John O'neill personally through a family member. I've talked to him at length several times, been to Christmas parties at his house, and know that he is a great friend to my uncle. From everything I know of him he is a first class, very intelligent, honest American. Neither is a self-agrandizing individual looking to cash in on an election season. He's been saying the same things about Kerry since 1971, when he debated Kerry on the Dick Cavat Show.

If he has something to say about Kerry, I would say it's worth hearing.

MSNBC replayed the '71 "debate" between Kerry and Oneil early last week. Not much of a debate. Oneil went on the offensive from the start and Kerry didnt say much to persuade the audience othewise. My favorite part was when Oneil accused Kerry of looking the other way when witnessing war crimes, and as an officer, if he had observed such crimes why he didnt take action to stop them.

They went on to interview John Oneil today, and he still is passionate about his feelings against John Kerry.

I'll buy the book.
