COL Wesley Rehorn is a 34yr veteran who previously served with 10th SFG(A).

This is the Fayetteville, NC Part 1 portion of this mission.

Fellow North Carolina Patriot Guard Riders,

The Rehorn Family has asked us to participate in the Welcome Home mission for COL Wesley Rehorn. We will escort the family from Fort Bragg, NC to exit 4 in VA where we will hand them off to VA PGR.

18 April 10 Fayetteville, NC Staging Info:

1100 Staging @ the Ft Bragg Mini Mall vicinity of Reilly and Honeycutt Roads.

1130 Mission Brief

1200 Depart Staging location

TBD Gas/pit stop (vic of Rocky Mount)

1500 Link up with VA PGR at VA exit 4 on I-95.

1515 We will stand an honor corridor as VA PGR departs.

There will be no police escort for this mission.

Motorcycle Safety requirements for ALL riders entering Fort Bragg include:


DOT approved helmet, eye protection, long sleeves, full fingered gloves, long pants, sturdy, over the ankle footwear, brightly colored outer garments during hours of daylight and reflective vest or belt during hours of limited visibility. Also keep in mind you are entering federal property; leave anything that might be considered a weapon at home.

If you have a DOD ID card and do not have post decals, you may be required to show your MSF card in order to enter the post.

Anyone who does not possess a valid DOD ID card must enter the installation through one of the following gates: Randolph Road, Knox Street, Longstreet Road, or the All American Freeway. You must have your driver's license, proof of insurance and registration; your vehicle will be searched, so be sure to allow extra time for this process.

If you can't get on post, meet us vicinity of 295 and Ramsey Street. There's a Lowe's in close proximity to Andrews Church road and Ramsey st. We'll be taking Honeycutt off post, to Andrews Church Road, and then Ramsey to 295 and up I-95. If you do link up here, call me and let me know that you're there.
