Congratulations to all, it's to bad that some of the women did not live to recieve the medal.
It is about time and well deserved........

The WASPs trained here in Sweetwater, Texas (about half way between Abilene and Midland where the Commemorative Air Force is located) and hold their reunions just north of Dallas in Denton - their official archives are held in the library of the Texas Womans University - I've met a couple of them and they're awesome.

I think that is absolutely awesome and a well deserved award albeit a bit late. Big Kudos to those who helped make that happen.
