CBS says it didn't ban the ad, but merely had sold out of all available ad space. KGB submitted four ads to CBS. This one didn't make it.

You hit it on the head. That's one way to cut your advertising costs for the Super Bowl (estimated to be $2.6M for a 30 second spot this year) and still get the ad out.

Funny thing is, I have no recollection of what the commercial was about. I just have this image in my head of a guy "with his head up is ass" and it obliterates all other thoughts.

Good one, Pete! I was thinking the same thing, but my synapse was slow today!!!
I have a neat parttime job mowing greens at a golf course, and I have witnessed first hand MANY golfers like those two!

The other day I saw a TV add poking fun at two nerdy East Indian guys dancing, and my Indian buddy was excited to say , " This proves Indians have gone mainstream too !"
