Well done. Brings back memories of Mr. Hutchinson's Advanced Math class in 1985. He was a helluva teacher.

Of the several hundred images with this theme easily found on the internet, this one appealed to me the most.
In case you're wondering, it had nothing to do with advanced mathematics. :D

Humor is not easy to define or manufacture at will. The late night comedians have staffs of ten or more devoted to the short monologues given by the talent each night.
I am not offended that you do not get the mathematics part of the joke. What concerns me is that you do not find it humorous to see one breast covered by the a well-known symbol for an irrational number and another covered by the symbol for the unreal (imaginary). ;)
But I swear, a woman's breast is the hardest rock that the Almighty ever made on this earth, and I can find no sign on it.
I hope my explanation and illustration have not offended any of the non-male participants here. Of course, your post could just be a trap for me to step deeply into it. :cool:

When my wife went to short hair after we were married she told me it was easier to take care of and cooler on her neck. Then she added that preferring women with long hair was a sign of immaturity. That was about 40 years ago. Call me "still immature." :D

The sign on the left is the Pi sign. Pi=3,1416.......... to infinity, no end.
The equasion on the right is the square root of -1 or otherwise you can not do that. There is square root of -1 it does not exist.
Guess you had to be there. It's REALLY funny if you try to multiply them. (just put an "x" over her heart) Gawd, I think I nearly choked! This is WAY too funny in the morning. I think I'll go solve some quadratic equations.

I've never been able to get a handle on complex math but this might help

If you understand/see all of the jokes, there is no hope for you, you are complete math nerd.
[GratefulCitizen] turned 36 years old today.
It is a time to reflect upon one's life.
...thinking back 30 years to the age of 6...
6 was perfect...
...a son was born at age 28...
28 was perfect, too...
...remembering being a bachelor when there was only i...
then there was marriage and children...
+2, +3, +4...the natural thing...
things became complex and were no longer well-ordered...
but at 36, it's finally squared...
...remembering back 5 years to 31...
being in my prime...
there were only 2 factors to consider...
now, at 36, with four kids and another due any day...
compared to then...
there are four and a half times as many factors to consider...
