Note: I have no connection to Norwich University nor am I SF qualified. However, I thought this information would be useful to those already on teams looking for a Bachelor's Degree. Norwich has been around as a brick-and-mortar school since 1819 and (according to their pamphlet) is the birthplace of the Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) program. They've just started online courses in the past few years.

Bachelor of Science in Strategic Studies and Defense Analysis (BSSSDA)
The Bachelor of Science in Strategic Studies and Defense Analysis degree is open only to Active, National Guard, and Reserve personnel, as well as veterans, who have been assigned to one of the subordinate commands within the United States Special Operations Command and have successfully completed one of the following: the U.S. Army’s Civil Affairs Qualification Course (38), Psychological Operations (37), Special Forces (18), or Warrant Officer (180) MOS courses, or related occupations

Applicants must demonstrate proficiency in basic math and writing skills through prior college or training credit in these areas, or CLEP tests. Residential undergraduate students will be permitted to enroll in courses for this program only with written permission of the chair of the Department of Continuing Studies, undergraduate advisor, and major undergraduate department chair and/or dean.

Students entering the BSSSDA program may receive the equivalent of up to 90 quarter credits (60 semester credits) for SOF courses, preparation in leadership and language study as reviewed for credit by the American Council of Education or a similarly recognized organization.

Students may also transfer up to an additional 25 quarter credits (15 semester-credit hour equivalent) from other accredited institutions of higher education for courses that meet specific course requirements in the BSSSDA program.

Students complete the remaining credits through Norwich University in a structured program that will typically require two to four years to complete, depending upon a student’s full-time or part-time enrollment status and military deployment schedule.

They also offer several Masters degrees in a variety of military & traditional subjects.

I have been in contact with the head of the program as well as a POC in the Ft. Bragg/Fayetteville area from Norwich. If anyone is interested and would like their info, feel free to PM me. Their pilot courses for the program are scheduled to start this month, and Norwich is offering an initial discount rate of $55 per credit/hr. My POC says there are also full scholarships available to those enrolled in the program, and Norwich is a member institution of the new Yellow Ribbon Program.

Good find. Thanks.

FWIW - Norwich has been much better in how they have run their online schooling (compared to 2002). And for those in the military, Norwich is a "known" school to military persons. Outside the military / New England - not so much.

And the campus is nice in the summer as well, especially when there are few cadets hanging around ;)
