Mr. Gates found himself grounded by weather in Kabul, stood up by the prime minister in Baghdad and startled by President Hamid Karzai of Afghanistan, who blurted out at a palace news conference that the Afghans would not be able to pay for their own security forces until 2024.

Mr. Gates found himself grounded by weather in Kabul He's a pretty cool guy. I bet he heads over to the Goat DFAC or the DFAC run by the French at ISAF; grabs a cup of coffee and waits for someone to sit down across from him. Then asks a few questions and starts listening. The guy is awesome!
