Special Forces Mom's, Dad's, Wives, & Girlfriends, Brothers & Sisters, etc XMAS gifts recommendations by SF soldiers for SF soldiers.

OK this year let's start a thread on what your Special Forces soldier wants for the holidays. ;)

Please allow the SF soldiers past and present to post on/in this thread their thoughts on what they would recommend......

Please fee free to ask questions concerning our recommendations.

I'll start off by posting that anything from "Chris Reeve Knives (http://www.chrisreeve.com/)" is good, folding knives are great......

Umnumzaan, Sebenza, Sebenza 21 with inlay, Damascus etc you cannot go wrong.;)

my wife bought me a land rover defender 90. Military surplus(Italian), 2 troop-style bench seats in the bed, green canvas tarp over bed was still in good shape. she accumulated so many "cool points" with that purchase I'm sure she will never run out.

Hmm...knives and guns are good...
From adult children, a bottle of whisky, the good stuff, not the cheap stuff you drink...

This is one worth considering - I have a couple of the pens and they not only work great, they make unique gifts which garner a lot of attention and appreciation.

Junior’s Bullet Pen Company is dedicated to one of our fallen heroes, SSG Chris Falkel.

SSG Falkel was a warrior, a weapons sergeant for 3rd Special Forces Group, and on the evening of 8 August, 2005, he and his team were involved in a 54 hour battle that “will live in the annals of Special Forces history.” During that battle, he paid the ultimate sacrifice and died saving the lives of his team. He was awarded the Silver Star for his bravery and heroism.

Most SF types gravitate toward outdoor activities so how about a nice gift card from either Bass Pro Shops or Cabela's?

Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, Knives (field or Kitchen), a good set of cast iron cookware, a barrel smoker (yep, a real smoker for briskets and stuff), ammunition, oh the list could keep going on.

Gift cards for the local Harley Shop are always welcome for the Bike Owners.

Don't recommend buying parts for a bike, unless you have a specific wish list from your SF Soldier.

IIRC Mr. Falkel is a member here...but you might already know this. I own one of these as well, I really love the pen.

Don't think it's going to appear down the chimney into his stocking in Stuttgart.

He's getting the Bulletpen instead.
