Who is rooting for who?
Lets make some predictions so tomorrow we can come back and say I told you so to the losers!
Ohh BTW GO Gators!:lifter
You can pick whatever factor or edge you want in deciding who you think will win this game. Me, I'm sticking with Tebow and Spikes. I've rarely ever seen a better combination of offensive and defensive leader both on the field and off. I might go down with them this afternoon, but I'd much rather do that than doubt them. I've seen too much over the past couple of years to do anything that rash.
Roll Tide!
Two Texas QBs - McElroy (Bama) and McCoy (Texas) - in the BCS Championship would be an exciting match-up. :D
OBTW - Ducks who??? :p

I bleed Orange and Blue!
Eat 'em up Gators, Eat 'em up!
This should be a great game. Go Gators !

I'm a Seminole, so I root for anyone playing the Gators. But I bet Tebow pulls it out by 10. (Regardless of how much you hate the Gators, you can't help but like Tebow).

No way I'm saying anything, couldn't have predicted that one. I didn't think Gators could lose.
Besides, next time I'm wrong it would draw serious fire.
Big Teddy,
Thanks!!!
You gotta be tough to be a Duck fan.

Is there anything to be but a Gator? :D:D
Just curious...but...is the reason the Univ of Oregon does not offer an MD program due to the fears that the graduates would then be referred to as 'Quacks'??? :p

Richard,
Duck-U has a "Pre-Quack" program and then some go on to "Board Certified Quack School" in Portland.
If you visited the Campus, you'd think it was some form of monster professional sports training center with track (remember the Olympic Trials?), basketball, baseball and of course football.
My proposal to Duck U is to get rid of all those schools taking up too much space, like education, architecture and design, science, math and business to make more room for sports. The Law school was built by Phil Knight so that would probably stay.
The students would still pay full tuition and in return get discounted beer and season tickets without being troubled by all those pesky classes and tests.
This could work.:D

The Gators are going to the Sugar Bowl.
FSU ---> Gator Bowl
USF ---> International Bowl.
UF lost that national title by one game..

So the next question is who do you think is gonna take the BCS... Texas ant looking so hot from their last game?
What do you guys think about the BCS and other bowl games coming up?

Whoever has the highest score at the end of the game - it'll be a good one.

I give Texas the benefit of the doubt from last game. Nebraska has a really good defense. But Alabama is so good on both sides of the ball. Got to go with Alabama.
Personally I wish Texas lost so there would be major BCS chaos.
I have have a huge issue with the BCS games.
Why is TCU playing Boise State??? Would it not make more sense to match up these teams against BCS conference teams?? It makes me wonder if the BCS is rigged (yes).
IMO, it should be Ohio State v. Boise State and Oregon v. TCU or GT v. TCU.
But on the bright side, it's a rematch of last year and could potentially be a great game.
I have no problem with Florida v. Cincinnati. I actually like this match up. I'm surprised it wasn't Cincinnati v. Ohio State. If Cincinnati can pull out that win that might create some controversy seeing they are undefeated and Florida was the No.1 team all season. But I don't see that happening. I hope I'm wrong.
Oh and watching the Gators get destroyed and Tebow cry was glorious!!! I could not be happier.

Recent trends indicate that Texas will now win the title game. Too bad as I am cheering for Bama.

Not if they play like they did the last time they took the field.

Not if they play like they did the last time they took the field.
Agreed.
Only looking at recent trends, the last 4 Heisman winners and 7 of the last 9 have lost their bowl games.
But then, McCoy's numbers against defenses ranked 40 or higher include zero TDs, five INTs, and less than 200yrds in each of those three games (Oklahoma, Colorado, and Nebraska).

AND...who won those games? ;)
It might do well to remember that Colt McCoy is only one member of the Texas football team...and good teams find ways to win. I think it'll be a hell of a football match-up on 7 Jan 2010...unless the end-of-the-worlders are correct for once.

"the little engine that could" from stanford
Running backs are a dime a dozen. Like you say, the Stanford RB is comparable to Ingram. Ryan Williams (a FRESHMAN) had comparable numbers against arguably tougher competition. The Oregon RB didn't have a bad season, either - another freshman.
Tell me the last time you've seen a DL dominate games the way Suh did. I'm not a fan of Nebraska or the Big XII, but I'll acknowledge what I see.
