Agreed. How many other General Officers, retired or active, are willing to stand up and say that?

The General is correct.
Agreed. How many other General Officers, retired or active, are willing to stand up and say that?
Or, how many General Officers are willing to retire after they stand up and say that?

Some would say that he doesn't have 4 stars for this reason.......

In fact, that's exactly what he said. I love this guy. Too bad we don't have more leaders like him.
Thanks for the post, Longwire.
I just finished reading Gen Boykin's book "Never Surrender." I was living overseas when the General's reputation was being dragged through the MSM swamp (early 2000's) and didn't realize it was happening, or even who he was.
I saw the thread in The Library and understand some on here feel very strongly that he shouldn't have written this book. I have to sheepishly admit I am glad he did... it is an uplifting book about America's capabilities in special missions, and also about his unexpected journey to personal redemption.
I'd be worried about any American that couldn't appreciate who Gen Boykin was/is. We need more leaders who take a coherent stand - call things for what they are.
Would love to hear his insight on the SEAL court martial situation.

He did pay the price :(
I will listen to the good LTG before any MSM talking heads and armchair quarterbacks. If that makes me come across to some as another narrow-minded, culturally-insensitive, right-wing-nut *insert more here*, so be it.
Thank you for the post, and thank you to whoever thought of the interview idea.

How many are willing to stand up and say that before they Retire......NONE
