Just FYI for any Rosetta Stone users -
If you wish to uninstall RS, you have to contact customer support, and go through a step by step deactivation process.
If you simply uninstall, as you would with any other program, RS will invalidate your product license, and you won't be able to reinstall. To obtain a new license, you then have to fax RS a copy of the original receipt or a credit card statement proving that you purchased the product.
I paid cash, and had long since lost the receipt, so I was told that I was out of luck. After many phone calls, I was able to get RS to issue a 'one time' software license. However, if this computer ever crashes, I will have $1300 worth of worthless language disks. My fault for not reading the entire manual.
Hope this saves someone a headache down the line.
