If visiting the San Francisco bay area, check out the Ghirardelli Museum.

While there, I heard a story of a WWII German Field Officer removing from the pocket of a dead US Infantryman, a bar of Ghirardelli chocolate.

He observation was, if the Americans can figure out how to get chocolate from San Francisco, CA all the way to the front, then the war was lost to Germany.

Sigh.

Yeah, I kinda felt the same way. I am pre-diabetic and am sorta kinda not allowed to have that stuff anymore.

Gotta try Trader Joe's chocolate covered ginger. It is to die for. ;)
