This is double-whammy. One, she's a female and loses some credibility by some. Two, she's white and is accused of thinking all black people look alike. Poor lady, can't win, but funny nonetheless.

I disagree, if you closed your eyes its difficult to tell them apart as they both sound just as stupid.

Great point!

MSNBC has a history of "news anchors" having thrills up and down legs that obscure visual acuity and ability to think.

Thus, a gaff such as this is to be expected I guess.

Jackson just comes across as taking himself WAY to seriously. What if he'd answered by saying "Well, Katie, call me Jesse blah blah blah. . . "
A level of un-attainable coolness, I guess.
