Good thing they didn't change it to the "Heart Attack Grill"

WOW! At this time a 93% fail rate. Glad to see Americans now seeing through the blind lies.

I saw the results of the CNN poll listing his low approval rating, and one of the news channel's political "experts" actually compared him to Ronald Regan, who the expert claimed had similar approval ratings.

He went on to say this president will, like Regan,be remembered and loved for his "personality",and not his programs.

I think Regan was a damn fine POTUS.

I do not think the current POTUS is anything but a talking head.A talking head who needs a teleprompter in order to speak effectively.I also see the current President as being remembered for bringing this country down very quickly, being unfit for office, yet elected,by popular vote, because of his color, not for his experience, which he clearly lacked, and thus is now showing.

I worked the Major Acquisition programs end of ground equipment (as a civilian) during the Reagan years.

When we presented the budget for what it would take to replace our outmoded and worn out (high failure rates) equipment, we expected the traditional beating that would put us back to barely holding our ground. When he stood behind us, it was almost like hearing "we can beat this disease".

I give Reagan the credit for every modern, reliable piece of equipment on the ground. His actions and focus have greatly affected our current deployments. The most credit I can give any other president is credit for not subsequently doing too much damage.

I suppose the internet opens up the vote to people far and wide, but I would be prone to assume that the majority of readers on the Sun Times' site are from the Chicago area. I think it is worth noting then that both the article and corresponding pole come directly from the man's former home town. I would be generally less impressed if this was a poll from say Dallas or Nashville or somewhere else equally southern.

It will be interesting to see how the discontent spreads when the masses don't get the free ride so many of them expected. Change will come but it doesn't seem it will be the change everyone was hoping for.

Never trust polls in the internet, it's trivial to script a vote-bot that randomizes the source address.

Reagan was responsible for it up to Clinton...then the same thing happened when Clinton finally found the door.

I'm sure there are plenty of folks frequenting these forums who remember the dark years with no budget under Clinton, rucking to the ASP and then to the range, etc, the 82nd borrowing truck parts from us just to pass DRF1 inspection, scavenging everything, losing separate rats on deployments, no more DX of equipment/BDU's, no parts to fix weapons and no funds for new weapons...

Bush took office and the 9/11/01 attacks opened up the government coffers for the military and we needed it badly after 8 years of Clinton. It was nice to finally have the blank check after roughing it for so long.

F*** I hated Clinton!!!!!!

Right now, I'm wishing she had won the election.
We would be MUCH better off.

I don't know W.M. The level of jackassery going on up at the building with the big clown hat on it would still be the same players.

Lollapaloozie and her ilk would still be there. However, there might be a little less wax on the skis.

Of course without the appearance of the "Zero" our nation would not be blessed with the services of Mr Burris....
