Anyone got a line on an affordable XMTR or transceiver? I want to work for my license and need a set. HF since I am interested in IMC.

PLS keep in mind I am a poor old FOG 05B living on disability.:boohoo

Not sure if I interpreted your request correctly; I don't do much in avionics.

Anyway, a friend of mine built his own plane so I asked him.

He gave me the following link and said he would ask around at some places he is visting next week.

Uhh, he was asking about a radio transmitter or transceiver, and International Morse Code, NOT an aircraft.

IMC - in aircraft - Instrument Meteorological Conditions

oops - it was the "working on a license " that made me think aircraft and parts.

TR is correct. I was actually debating between posting here or on the 18E board.;)
