Shit.

Jack and I went through the entire Q course together. We met that first day at SWCC standing up on a little patch of grass where the Deltas formed up. I dont think I will ever forget our skit in BNCOC when he came out of a hut wearing nothing but a poncho as a cape, LCE and boots. The instructors, who probably thought they had seen it all, were mortified. While we were taking Chinese at Lewis, we used to go head to head at a local Crossfit gym. He was a stud!
Jack , you were a good m'fer and you'll definitely be missed. Thanks for your service.

I have been told that the memorial for Jack will be 1400 6OCT at the chapel across from group.

RIP

RIP Hero Soldier. You did your duty and we are all in your debt. My heart goes out to your family in this time of deep sadness. I cannot imagine their sorrow, even though the scenario has been played out too many times in my imagination over too many deployments. I only hope that they catch the shit fingers who planned this. The ones who paid the money for this chicken shit IED to be planted. When they do, God have mercy on their souls.
