The Big O and the Dow

I watch Hizzoner speaking at the UN this morning. Whenever he speaks I keep an eye on the market ticker at the bottom of the screen. When he started the market was up about 20 points. When he finished it was down about 20.
This is not the first time I've noticed this phenomena. The first few times I thought it was just an anomaly. Just a strange coincidence perhaps. Maybe all the brokers were riveted to their TVs in fascination as The One spewed forth glistening pearls of leadership in dulcet tones.

I have finally realized that if we are to in fact recover from this recession, the prez needs to stay off TV. This would serve two purposes. It would bring some stability to the stock market and it would allow me to cut down on my intake of anti-acids.

What I noticed today when he was speaking was the ticker for CNN, said "Obama Preaches Peace". Since when was Obama ordained? Oh, I forgot that happened back in November didn't it????:rolleyes:
