A few minutes ago I was sitting in JERSEY MIKES enjoying a sub when I notice a simple fact; there are four times more Jersey Mikes in NC then there are in Jersey:munchin...in fact FBNC is inundated with this original Point Pleasant franchise!!!
Additionally, there are now over 400 Jersey Mikes spread across the US, :lifter which leads me to believe that the rest of the nation is finally comprehending how cool Jersey really is:cool:

I have always been a Hampton's guy so I am somewhat ashamed to say that I have never stepped foot in a Jersey Mikes. Now that the tourists have gone home for the summer I might have to look it up the next time I visit one of my customers in Lakewood.

Wish the OIP's would expand down here like The Jersey Mikes did....Original Italian Pizza and Restaurant is one place I stop at every time on a certain trip route up north. Jersey Mikes is a decent alternative though in the time being ;)

Penn, did you notice that Jersey Mike's opens where Jerseyans seem to congregate?.......I don't think I've eaten at a Jersey Mike's since I moved to Jersey!

Jersey Mike's isn't in San Antonio, yet...although I notice its in Austin. :)

I recently tried Jimmy John's - good sandwich, and incredibly fast service. I'll definitely go there again!

JM is okay, but I prefer McAlister's Deli.

I had to check them out on the net.

They have a number of them here in NC. I think they have me surrounded at about 60 miles out.

I would think there would/needs to be at least one near Cross Creek Mall.

I might eat "fast food" 3-4 times per year, JJ's is one place I like and will order the # 15. (the other place is my fav Chinese restaurant right by my office) Oh, and JJ's is the only place I'll indulge and eat potato chips...their own brand is really delish... :lifter

I didn't try the potato chips - so that will be added to the agenda.

And it seems there is a McAlisters not far from one of my usual routes. It seems I enjoy an embarrassment of culinary riches.

Look for a Heidi's Brooklyn Deli or Spicy Pickel coming your way.

I don't believe it, but we have one in Denver.

Was driving to a call the other day, and went through an intersection, I've gone through about a million times, and there it was......a Jersey Mike's.

For those here in town, it's at the S.W corner of Broadway and 6th Ave.

One of these days, when we pass by again, and we have the time, we're gonna stop in. :munchin

I am a fan of their Chicken Philly with jalapenos. A pretty solid variety if you can't make it to South Philly for a real cheese steak sandwich.
