Does anyone recognize this individual from 5th SFG (A) or any SFG for that matter? His bio and photo do not indicate he was ever “Qualified” and I need to find out asap.

Thanks,

Mike

Briefing On U.S. Army Technical Escort Unit

<snip>We are a one-of-a-kind battalion-level organization that is comprised of six companies located in four states, to provide a regional response capability to both our homeland and our combatant commanders. The battalion consists of both military and civilian men and women who stand ready 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, to go wherever and whenever required.<snip>

<snip>Today, escorting only encompasses about 10 percent of our mission. For the remainder -- remaining 90 percent of our mission, it involves our core capabilities, which are on the board to my left [chemical/biological advice, sampling, detection, monitoring, limited decon packaging, escort, render safe procedures, disposal], and providing those capabilities to both the civil authorities in the homeland as well as our combatant commanders. Additionally, TEU along with the United States Army Corps of Engineers plays a vital role in the remediation of our formerly used defense sites.<snip>

<snip>And finally, TEU in conjunction with the product manager for non- stockpile [chemical materiel] provides an emergency response capability in the event that a chemical or biological material is covered anywhere else in the continental United States.<snip>
