Reaper,
Do you still have that Bren Ten? I have not seen any around for quite some time.
Does anyone know how much they go for? If I remember correctly the magazines were in very short supply.

Nope, sold it several years ago. IIRC, went for around $1100 with three mags back then. Not getting any cheaper these days, I expect.
Got another 10mm though, a 1911 version.

Which 10mm 1911 do you have? I have a stainless colt delta. I really like it. I have some work done on it but it is mostly stock. Not big on stainless guns but the price was right, they did not have blued and I wanted instant gratification.

Running a custom built Para Ordnance P-14 lower with three slides and four different barrels giving me everything from a .45ACP Shorty, to .40 S&W, to a comped 10mm (which incidentally holds 16 rounds).
The CorBon 135s chronyed an average of 1586fps for a string of five, but I understand they have downloaded them a bit. Very flat shooting with the comp.
Once we got it sorted out, it runs like a top.
No stainless, but the frame and most of the uppers are Robar NP3 plated. No rust and you just wipe them off after shooting. Maybe a little lube on the rails only, but it runs fine dry as well.

Do you like the NP3 finish? From my very limited experience it is a very slick surface. Have you had any issues with your grip during speed reloads?

Great on mags, heavy skin contact surfaces and the frame and slide if they are properly checkered/serrated.

NP3 is great stuff! I have it on various pistol magazines, as well as on the bolt carrier group of a M4 clone. I have also done the lower receiver parts of the same weapon. Makes the guns run smooth as silk. Aids in cleaning and slicks up the trigger pull without modifying the weapon. I have thought about doing a 1911 frame in it, but was also curious whether it would be too slick. I guess I can go ahead with that project now. The only thing I do not like about NP3 is it is not black, brown, tan or green. Other than that it is great stuff.
