Rest in peace guys , I had the honor of driving SFC Granado during there ramp side service. One I hope I never have to repeat.
I wish there were answers to questions and words to explain...
Words seem empty at times, because, they hide the despair and the sadness that lies beneath. "Rest in Peace" what does it mean, why do we say it?
Rest in peace - of course my brothers. We miss you the most that knew you - we miss you as a friend and teammate. But we miss you just as much - those of us who never met you in this life. But we know you.
Our words may only pay homage and respect, but our thoughts and our emotion, our energy run deep and are laced and intertwined within each syllable - because what you did for us and for our country was so costly - and we cannot adequately repay the debt.
So rest in peace, in a place of honor, Ronald;
Rest in peace, free of pain and worry Severin;
Rest in peace in the loving arms of the Lord Alejandro;
You have our word – “we will remember you.”
RIP Brothers,, Vaya con Dios..
R.I.P. and thanks to you all. Prayers to the families.

Not my words, Shakespeare's Henry V. But the 1/20th Commander spoke them during the memorial service at Fort Bragg. Very well spoken!
Came across this picture and thought it should be in here. (http://inapcache.boston.com/universal/site_graphics/blogs/bigpicture/afghan_10_26/a27_20818411.jpg)

I was looking at the Year in Photos 2009 (http://www.army.mil/yearinphotos/2009/) on Army.mil and this photo was the very last one.
