Next Ch 85 SFA meeting will be on 9/12/09 at the River Palms Cottages and Fish Camp in Jensen Beach Florida (Stuart area north of West Palm Beach) 1000 hours. All guests welcome.
Outing activity for Fri 9/11 to be anounced in the near future.
The 50 ft to 250 yard range outing on 7/17/09 was a great success with a few Professional Soldier members in attendance to meet chapter members and fire some of the various .50 cal's, then flintlocks, civil war weapons, 9mm, .45's, AK's, M4's etc., etc. in Okeechobee Fl. The pig roast for lunch, very good, everybody piged out. PM fishing back in Ft. Pierce at Dockside Inn hotel on the ocean inlet, lot of fun and comaraderie with some from coming from Georgia and South Carolina. Saturday meeting was even attended by LTC Allen West, who is running next year for the 22nd Congressional District. MANY OF YOU WILL REMEMBER HIM FROM WHEN HE WAS FIRED FROM THE ARMY AND the 4th I.D., for his unique way of interrogating an Iraq policeman with his 1911 A1 .45 cal pistol, thus preventing an ambush upon his troops, and his troops ambushing the insurgents. Asked if he would do it all over again after getting shitcanned-----he said "in an instant".
He askes for all like minded Americans help him "Stand the Wall" for Democracy and the Constitution, which he feels are both under attack. JUST plug his name in on the net, to see who he is.
