I can't find any evidence of these being posted in the past, so I thought I would share. They are sort of field manuals for jihadis....(FM 666 ?)

and they are printed in good ol' Charlotte, NC.

Less of an FM, more of a periodical. Think Newsweek, Time, or Popular Mechanics, for jihadists.

I was being facetious........

My mistake, then. Still, it is disturbing to have that kind of trash anywhere, especially here.

Why is it in English? Sentence structure and vernacular seem to be quite correct; If they were using some sort of translation software it would come out differently. Why aren't we hunting the tactless source and composer of such documents, even if it were just for questioning and letting them know the infelicitous are being watched with a very close eye.

And I thought Fox/Cnn News was biased. This is the most ethnocentric garbage I have even read.

America is the enemy of Islam and Muslims and is the one who killed tens of thousands in Somalia... Pg.35 1st edition Have we forgotten who America is?

If anything I am kinda impressed by the knowledge they have put together but still very mystified as someone who feels they are so informed can be so off key in their observations and conclusions.

They say in the first link he posted it is for English speaking Muslims.

His name is Samir ibn Zafar Khan and he resides in Charlotte, NC. He has been under investigation for a while. Seems to be a lot of information on him.

Spoke too soon... A simple google search shows that this guy should be deported and people love his blogs and websites.

Free Speech at work I guess....

Am I the only one who thinks it's weird, they designed this "magazine" like a typical western pop magazine? Seems kind of hypocritical to me, but then again I suppose hypocrisy is nothing new from these guys.
I think this publication is extremely perverse, because the design and the way it is written implies that it caters to your regular, every-day muslim (and maybe it does?). This may just be an online publication, and I'm sure there's more than this out there, but as others have said before me, I find this very disturbing; especially since the guy putting this out is sitting in our own back yard. He must be chuckling all day...

I hope we're not on a path of becoming so politically correct that we allow these people to print news papers in our own country. What's next? A tv-show for terrorists, all in the name of free speech?

I hope we're not on a path of becoming so politically correct that we disallow these people to print newspapers in our own country.

This is an ages old proverbially double-edged sword for modern societies. James Eichner, in his biography Thomas jefferson: The Complete Man, describes the following incident having occurred while Jefferson was President

A German visitor to the white House saw there a newspaper full of abuse of president Jefferson and asked why the President did not have the fellow who wrote it hanged.

"What? Hang the guardian of the public morals?" asked Jefferson. "Put that paper into your pocket, my good friend," he told the visiter, "and carry it with you to Europe, and when you hear anyone doubt the reality of American freedom, show them that newspaper and tell them where you found it."

Given a choice between print or censorship - let 'em print so we can openly debate the strengths and weaknesses of the ideas being presented.

Richard,

I think that is the best I have heard/read anyone ever explain free speach in context to our country.
It is not about the lack of erudition, content or for that matter the logic. It is the fact that it is printed and we all live in a free country for it to be so.

Let this fool print whatever he wants because my country is free.
