View Full Version : "wrong things"
Well since the Pres in his little talk in Egypt stated we did "wrong things" after 9-11 I sure wished he would have said more about what he thinks we did "wrong".
Just saying "wrong things" gives a lot of editorial license for the newspapers of the Middle East.
Once again "we are not at war with Islam".
Still no statement about the Little Rock shooting by a convert to Isalm.

Him be specific about anything. That would put him on the record and pin him down. The true politician, and he is one, will never permit that as it can come back and bite him in the arse.
Maybe Obee's been reading UBLs classic storybook for his children of the jihadi maize - "Where the Wrong things Are!" - and decided to quote from it to show what a 'with it' kinda world community organizer he's become.
Richard's $.02 :munchin
world community organizer he's become.
Its time the self appointed "Boy King" quit campaigning and started to be a Leader and Commander. But he wont, he doesnt posess the wherewhithall to be either.
Mr. Obama may or may not be a United States Citizen, what he will NEVER be however is a true American.
Is that the strains of the "Soviet Nationale" I hear in the background?

Hypothetically speaking. I wonder how the Messiah would feel if all his recruiters started carrying sidearms, returning fire, and killing a few civilians.. "aw gee sarge, I mean Sir, they had a gun aimed at me." It would stop all this nonsense. Shooting at an unarmed human who poses no threat to you. It is just so far past dishonorable and disgusting words, polite words, that is, fail me.
Teddy Roosevelt said these at various times.. all apply in various ways to what is going on now.
"Character, in the long run, is the decisive factor in the life of an individual and of nations alike. "
"I took the Canal Zone and let Congress debate; and while the debate goes on, the canal does also"
"Patriotism means to stand by the country. It does not mean to stand by the president"
"To announce that there must be no criticism of the president, right or wrong - is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public."
A man who is good enough to shed his blood for his country is good enough to be given a square deal afterward. More than that no man is entitled to; and less than that no man shall have.
– Theodore Roosevelt, speech at Springfield, Illinois (July 4, 1903)

There is quote at the WWII memorial that paraphrased states that at the end of "this conflict" The United States will be seen as a force of overwhelming might on one hand and of overwhelming peace on the other. Will that still hold true, and what shall the US be seen as by 2012?
