After consulting the proper authorities (resident QP), I was told to post this here.
ATTENTION FAYETTEVILLE, NC AND BEYOND...
Many of you may remember the Memorial Run for MSG Mitch Young last year. His survivor, Robyn, has organized, with the help of others, another run and expanded it. You don't have to have a motorcycle to do this run....cars are welcome too!

bumped to keep reminding those of us with short term memory issues.

Again, this event is open to everyone who wishes to support our wounded and fallen soldiers and their familes.

Seriously.... We really hope to see as many of you out there as possible. Bring your money too... everything that is auctioned..the funds go to helping our Warriors and their families. Even if you don't ride, you can come hang out or do the poker run in your car. Showing up to show support is the most important part of all this!
PLEASE remind your friends that are not on this site.

Thank you!

How do I get there?

Spoken like a true geographically challenged officer........ yeah, you knew that was going to resurface again...... :D perhaps one day, the true story of how you left 3hrs behind us, yet were 80 miles ahead of us at one point will be released for the general public dissemination.

I'd draw you a strip map, but you'd be lost as soon as you pulled out your compass....

I'm out of town and will be there in spirit with you guys.. Ride Safe !!!

I just past the ride on my way home from the gym. Did the heart good to see everyone out there riding for fallen heroes. If I can get the kiddos down at a reasonable hour, I might drop by Charlie Mikes for a beer tonight.

Hi All
To all those that made it out for the run and auction yesterday...THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR SUPPORT! To those that couldn't make it, we hope to see you all next year...remember, you don't have to have a bike to ride.
The run went very well, we had a great turn out for that and the auction. And the auction went very, very well! ;) As to be expected, our resident chefs did a fantastic job with the pig and all the side dishes were just as yummy.
Have a blessed Sunday,
Saoirse

While I don't have pictures........ I do have your text messages saved on my phone........:D

Would you care to explain to the group what happened? :munchin

seems that this officer thought that he was in Virginia at about exit 100 on I-95. we couldn't figure out how he had passed us, since we left about 2 hrs ahead of him.... funny that about 15 miles later, he sees a sign that says "Welcome to Virginia". and I quote"Never give an officer a map! we just hit VA, mile marker 1".

By the way Mr Officer dude was cited for this infraction with the customary case of beer fine.
