Look's like MSM has lost interest in this lad.
Or maybe ZERO has him going to a private school in the DC area.
DOS is probably working on passport's for the family and getting them enrolled in every welfare program available.

Yesterday I was wondering the exact same thing. Spent about 20 min looking for an update and could not find anything.....
Guess he is getting cleaned up for his new job.
He arrived in New York in April. He was arraigned in Manhatten, as an adult, and locked up in the same jail as Bernie Madoff. Now the legal dance of lawyers is burning time. Last report I found was AP 14 May 2009.
He'll probably be much fatter the next time he's in the news.
I do like the articles that state "alleged Somali pirate", hedging I guess tha a defense lawyer will disprove what Abduhl Wal-i-Musi family accepts as common knowledge. His father even stated his annoyance that his son was lied to in a promise of much money from piracy. The father upset he hasn't seen any.

SF_BHT,
Your right, this is going to be one of those "bleeding heart" type of cases...... MSM will portray this young thug as a poor misguided soul and will most likely give him another opportunity to live in our country to redeem himself....;) This country is in a upside down PC frame of mine....... God help us!

The young Somali man brought to New York last month and accused of piracy was indicted Tuesday by a federal grand jury in Manhattan, federal prosecutors said. The young man, Abduwali Abdukhadir Muse, whose age is unknown but who is believed to be a teenager, was the only survivor of a group of men that boarded the Maersk Alabama, a United States-flagged cargo ship, off the coast of Somalia on April 8, the authorities have said.
The indictment charges Mr. Muse with 10 counts, including piracy and conspiracy to seize a ship by force and to take hostages.
Judge Peck ruled that Muse would be prosecuted as an adult. Mr. Muse is being held without bond in the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Lower Manhattan. If convicted of the piracy count, he faces a mandatory life sentence, the authorities said.
Well, he won't do that again. Thanks to the SEALS for saving taxpayer dollars on the other three.

b22b,
Thanks for the update, but I still have an uneasy feeling and stand by what I originally said.....................;)
