We got in a shitload of the AFM receivers. I am a self admitted AR snob, these are the cats ass. Here is the skinny:
AFM tolerences are with in .005th of an inch which ensures the best possible trigger alignment so that even a standard military trigger feels better than in a rack grade receiver. These lower receivers are precision made in house from certified MIL-STD 7075 T6 forgings. AFM uses type III / class II hard coat anodize. See and feel the difference of a non vendored out lower receiver made to MIL-STD. Alot of care, quality control, and hand finishing goes into every AFM product including our lower receivers. Every lower receiver that is sold as a stripped receiver will have an "S" sufix on the serial number that tells the customer that it was sold by AFM as a stripped receiver. Caliber is 5.56 X 45mm Nato.
Enhanced features incluse a re-radiussed rear for a better fit to the pistol grip and a further beveled magwel to aid in feeded and seating the older polymer magazines.
