Some of the reasons why and how, Bob Dylan and with his writings, have enriched my life.

Album: Plant waves. Two songs juxtaposed as the last cut on each side of the album. I love the idea of the titles of the songs as bookends to concept. I also find that the songs from this album, Plant Waves, cut in one take over a four day session in LA; is a not only a classic, in terms of musicianship, but from a poetic viewpoint, is an expression of contemporary American writing that solidifies his rightful place among the literary geniuses of all time.

Up close and personal. This has a better bass line.

This is my personal favorite; Great interline rhymes and a departure from the studio version with an incredible amount of adlib lines. It would not be a waste of time to give a good listen to both versions. The studio version is below; the above is a slow more controlled expression of the same rage. It’s interesting to note how tempo changes the context.

His Song “Idiot Wind” is in my opinion, equal in sentiment to T.S. Elliott’s Poem “The Wasteland” (link is Here http://www.bartleby.com/201/1.html )
