You can do that with a welding set up of oxygen and acetylene, too.

To state the obvious, that might be best with a remote detonation.
Buddy of mine, former SEAL, built a very nice soccer field on his place for his kids to play and have league games. Then came the moles, Oregon Boone and Crockett record class moles. He had holes filled with "big bang" gas and blown.
The moles took a day off to clear their heads and got right back to work.
