Does anyone know any stores in the Fayetteville area that might be carrying 12 sets of the Tiger Stripe Jungle Camo?

Most places have switched over to the more "modern".

OG 107s and tiger stripes are getting hard to find.

A real interesting place to visit is Delks Surplus west of Ashboro about 6 miles or so on Hwy 64. Easy drive for a Saturday AM. I think they close early on Sat.

Most of the uniforms are the modern remakes but they do have bunches of original stuff.

Does it have to be a local vendor?

V.V.A. and V.V.I. Color Guard members in my area have been getting their Tigers from this company. Though they are not local, they have a prompt delivery time.

I also have a set of the Tru_Specs and they have been good. I've had good luck with Ops Gear.

Isn't the Air Force still issuing Tiger Stripes for some reason?

It's hard to spot a napping, overweight crew chief in a Tiger Striped flight suit in the cargo hold of a C-17.

Actually, the overweight crew chief would be in the typical sage green flight suit. Thankfully, we haven't changed those over to the tiger striped pattern.

Now, the gals in personnel are sporting the new Airman Battle Uniform (ABU). They have pretty much the same colors as the ACU and can be hard to tell apart when you have Soldiers and Airmen in the same group.

Would that be in the maternity version I saw displayed at PAFB MCSS within weeks of the new pattern becoming available?

Thanks, that was interesting.
The only pics I had seen were black and white. Couldn't tell they were blue.
Maybe they need a cloud pattern camo.

You're absolutely right. There is a pressing need for the maternity version of the Airman BATTLE Uniform. ;)
