Need help with a suffix. I know phile is to love or like and phobe is to fear - what's to hate?
Seen it used as an Adjective also.:cool:
Just studying on the side bro...before my knees give out.:D

-phobe as a suffix generally means hate, and not always the literal derivation of fear. Mis- is a prefix rather than a suffix. Miso is that Japanese stuff. :D
thus why I put the "-" dashes :)
-misia is the suffix
It's Greek for revulsion of.

Francophobe = A person who dislikes or fears France, its people, or its culture.
Dan = A person who dislikes France, its people, or its culture.
I think the word you're looking for is 'rational' or the hyphenate: 'freedom-loving'...
