Maybe they're finally waking up and "smelling the coffee". I know they hear what the people say, and the people don't like that stimulous (feed the pig) bill.

Good to hear some are finally heeding the blast faxes, petitions, phone calls, and emails to DC. A trillion bucks of almost every program that the far left has ever wanted is on the line. This Bill needs to be defeated.
This Bill makes a mockery out of Administrative Poliicy Formulation for any business, let alone our nation.
Thank God some one is listening to the people. This may be just the first dent in the Kings armor but it will not be the last. He might stay a little less time on TV and spend a little more time as the Leader of the US. The Pop culture may have elected him but who is going to pay his bills?

Well if they would all just pay their taxes like the rest of us have to then they would have a big chunk of money to work with....:mad:
There was a sigh of relief (believe it or not) on the Hill when the transition took place...the (R) no longer felt compelled to support the White House plans that were very unpopular with constituents.
All these "experts" and "czars" are as lost as everyone else on how this will come around. Greenspan has come back and basically said policies he supported may have contributed to the downturn.
Shoveling cash at it isn't going to fix anything without some associated fiscal responsibility and it is becoming apparent that the disconnected political elite are seriously lacking in basic accounting skills and financial responsibility.
Don't put the drunkard in charge of guarding the keg....

This gives me a little hope, but I'm going to wait to celebrate until this thing goes down in flames, until then I'll just keep my fingers crossed.

Now I reckon we all know why the Dims are always in favor of raising the tax rate....BECAUSE THEY DON'T FREAKING PAY TAXES!!!
