Great find! "Used Cars" is one of the greatest, most underappreciated movies ever made. It was made in Mesa, AZ - on Main Street - at Darner Chrysler-Plymouth and the "dump" across the street.
If Kurt Russell isn't one of the greatest American actors ever ("Big Trouble in Little China," the remake of "The Thing," "Miracle," "Escape From New York," et al), well, I don't know who is! :D

 Better recalculate your dive plan; I'm thinking you need a few more decompression stops after that statement. :p

Okay, okay... maybe the 2nd best - after "The Duke"! And, how could I forget:
"The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes," "The Strongest Man in the World,"Swing Shift," "Best of Times," "Silkwood," "Tango and Cash" - along with Stallone!, "Backdraft"Executive Decision"- great because Steven Seagall gets killed in the first 15 minutes!," "Tombstone" - much better than Costner's overblown Wyatt Earp epic, "Overboard," - and one of my favorites - "Captain Ron," and others!
Along with this - hundreds of TV appearances: "Jungle Boy" on "Gilligan's Island," "Elvis" - the definitive portrait of "The King," and lots of stuff on "The Wonderful World of Disney." 'Nuff said? :lifter
PS - Wazza "decompression stop"? :D

I'm not sure I'd go with one of the greatest, but I am a big fan of many of his movies, matter of fact I watched The Thing just the other night, and I own Big Trouble in Little China, both of which are still good movies! :)

Damn! Another closet CR fan. I'm outnumbered and damn near surrounded! I'm taking my gun cabinet, stimulus package, and partisan-a**ed opinions and moving to Idaho where the Duke is still appreciated! :p

Hey, hey! I "re-thunk" my original statement and put "The Duke" at the top of the list. I guess I should have made Kurt Russell the greatest "living" actor! However, and this I will not argue about, the best movie ever made is.... wait for it... "The Searchers"! :)

I'm partial to "The Quiet Man" myself--John Wayne, Maureen O'Hara, Barry Fitzgerald, Ward Bond, Victor McLaglen. :)

That's were you stop at your favorite bar/hangout and throw back a few cold ones, and munch on the Lobsters you brought up, after a GREAT day of diving.
At least that's what I used to tell my students. :munchin
