Troop Drawdown

Good Morning Gentlemen,

I have two conflicting reports regarding the planned Iraq US Troop Drawdown.

1) Out of Cities by Mid 2009 - Out of country by Mid 2010

or

2) 36mth Drawdown

I'm sure those in the know can clarify this discrepancy.

Also is there any substantial report on what is likely to happen to FID SpecOp Deployments to Iraq after the drawdown is complete? Would be an interesting read.

Of course this might all depend on these Local Elections on Saturday. Fingers crossed.

I believe it took close to five years to withdraw our equipment from Desert Storm, try doing the math....;)
