Go ahead and laugh...but I've had stuff like that happen. I am allergic to cats...a few years back, I was surveying in McElmo Canyon in SW Colorado. That's where mountain lions who disturb the Front Range denizens get sent for the rednecks in SW Colorado and SE Utah to kill...God forbid those granola eating commies would have to do anything like that...anyway, I am surveying a place called Porter's Nipple in early spring and my sinuses start acting up...no biggie I think, probably cottonwoods or something else...I come out of a canyon with a GPS unit on my back and look up to see a mountain lion who looked up to see me...within a heartbeat, we are both one drainage away, breathing hard and looking at each other as if to say "You scared the sh*t out of me..."
The next day, I took the Redhawk to the field in direct defiance of the company policy banning weapons from the field...
