You know this is what happens when you put a sheep in charge, he has all his ideals, but in the end he's dismantling the system that has successfully kept the homeland safe for the past 7 years, when we get attacked again, not if but when...it's going to be on the one, I wonder if the media will remember all his ideals then.

Seeing as how our beloved governor of Colorado, Bill Ritter, is trying to vie with Murtha in his unconscionable effort to bring the soon-to-be-released terrorists into our backyard, I wonder if there will be any public ID on these guys so people can spot them as they lurk about. I'm thinking worst-case scenario here since I'm pretty sure the ACLU will do their utmost to see all these poor, misunderstood, ass-raping, evolutionary-throwback, psychopathic fanatics are exonerated and given a fair chance at making a new life in the good ol' USA.
I mean, the government publicizes pedophiles and sex offenders that move into the neighborhood, so why not former GITMO inmates? Their faces and names should be broadcast nation-wide so everyone knows who they are. It wouldn't be profiling since we already know these guys have been proven to be the usual suspects. Why else were they in GITMO? These nefarious camel/swine offspring should have to wear tagging anklets like folks under house arrest. That way Homeland Security, as well as local LEO can track their movements and monitor their activities (in theory).

This will only lead to less "detainees" and more "enemy killed in action".

Concur.
The lack of military experience outside of a movie theater blinds our leadership to the fact that we are a fighting arm, not a police force.
Easier to kill our stateless, non-Geneva compliant, terrorist foes than to try and capture them while trying to build a case, which may, or may not be pursued.
Closing Gitmo (as well as the other sites) and releasing the prisoners is a terrible idea that will come back to haunt us.
