View Full Version : Going to Louisville, KY
Well just got the word and I am off to Louisville tonight.
My 98yr old Grandmother in a bad way and I figure I had better visit. Boy that is a lot of years, she has seen so many changes to the world in all those years.
Anyone in the area that has not been frozen with the storm this week let me know if you are in town and I might have time to have a drink. 14 hrs and counting until arrival. Start thawing out the Bourbon trail....
Hope you arrived safely B, and that you have a nice visit with your Grandmother. My stepmom's father is 97...when you think of all they've seen in their lives over the years it's pretty incredible.

You are right they have seen so many things.
When I arrived today my brother from Dallas picked me up and informed me she had passed.
We are preparing for the services. She was a amazing lady and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She taught me so many things as a child and as an adult.
Sorry to hear of your loss B.
I too, just learned that my Grandmother, on my Dad's side, Passed away yesterday. She was 93, and went quietly in her sleep.
One of my Uncles was with her when she passed. To her, her family was her world.
Again, sorry to hear of the news, B. My thoughts are with you and yours.
