Yup! Thats been my sentiment for a long time...just keeps getting more intensified. Saw plenty of examples of it when I lived in NYC. Worked with a bunch of ungrateful immigrants. Some of these guys I worked with were Russian Jews that had fled the USSR and had been here for almost 20 yrs or better. And all they did was complain about our country and my response would be, "well, we didn't invite ya to come here, so if you don't like it I will be more than happy to help you pack your bags, drive you to the airport and give you a nice bon voyage to your next destination!!" Not very PC of me, I know. <shrug> These guys had great paying jobs, great benefits, were union protected, drove nice cars, had nice homes...etc. Living the American dream and couldn't appreciate what they had. SOME of them had actually served for the USSR in their armed forces. One man found out I had been in the US Army and said to me, "oh once we were enemies, now we are friends, it's good, yes?" I said, "no, we are not friends, you work for me". I know, I am just a mean person! :p
