Going to be an uphill battle for Penn State. But with all this time off it could be anyone's game. The only two teams that beat Ohio State this season, so I am going to stay neutral on this game and just have fun watching.

God Bless Joe Paterno and everything his teams have done and will do but I gotta root for the Pac-10 today.

UGH that was painful to watch. RL, you have the best team in the land without a doubt in my mind. I would have enjoyed watching a USC v. Florida championship game.

A special thanks to the east coast sports writers who taught me that the Pac-10 was a bunch of over rated pansy ass's that couldn't play real college football.

With that in mind:
Pac-10 teams played in 5 bowl games this season, and won...
...uh, let me think.. ...oh yeah I remember now, every one of them.

I was trying to post from the game yesterday, but reception was awful. It was a fun game to watch, although I thought our play calling in the second half was atrocious. I'm happy to see Sarkisian leave.

Bill, great comments on the PAC-10!!!

Goggles and Five-O, I'll let you know next time I'm in town. Emoore, please PM Team Sergeant for payment instructions.

I think Florida is going to win big in the NC game.

I thought it was a great game.:) I was lucky enough to go to the UCLA vs Stanford game a few years ago and I have to say that the Rose Bowl Stadium is the best place to watch football. I was on the 5 yard line in the north-west corner and I could see everything no matter where it was on the field. If only they sold beer! AND I got to watch 'Snodfart" get it's ass kicked too! Pasadena "Old Town" is way fun too.:D

Gonzaga lost to Utah. That is wrong in so many ways.

Sorry Mr. Harsey, but who have they played. Big 10 teams don't count, they are not good, USC just proved that, and Texas will prove that again come Monday. Granted the Oregon vs OSU was a good game, and California beating Miami was a shock to me, I just dont see the hype behind the Pac-10. I really wish they would play an SEC team. Sorry, I just dont see the hype behind the Pac-10, the Big Suck, and the Big 12 teams. IMO, they dont compare to SEC teams. My rant is over now. :munchin

I'm at work right now. Just watched a few minutes of the Utah-Alabama game. Utah up 21 - 0 in the first quarter. I know it early in the game but they look tough. They have Bama looking confused.

Just turned the game on. Because I'm just a knifemaker and don't know much about other things, what conference is 'Bama a member of?

USC beat PSU - the best team in the Big Ten.

So what? All I hear is how "bad" the Big Ten is.

That was an assbeating last night - and also against the other Big Ten "powerhouse" Ohio State in September.

Damn. The Big Ten needs to start making some changes.

Ambush Master,
I'm going to get myself in trouble down here, especially with your help. :D

ksgbobo,
Lot's of hard driving young men playing some good college ball but it terms of how serious this is it means almost nothing compared to what many of the men and women of this website do, risk and sacrifice for our country.

I'm old enough to remember sitting in Autzen Stadium (Home of Duck-U) in November with the rain coming down at 32.1 degrees F and hoping to get beaten by less than 20 points to say we did "pretty good". This was not a one time thing and why we/I take some delight in any win, no matter what team was played.

My football season is over but this reminds me to call a knifemaking student of mine who used to play some ball for The Cowboys. His jersey had the no. 54 on it.

Good luck to everyone. :lifter

I can do this on Monday, March 2, 2009. Penn can join us if it's after 8. Let me know if that works. Perhaps others want to join also?
