What is Operation IMPACT?
In September 2006, Northrop Grumman launched a program to provide transitional support and employment to military service members severely injured in the global war on terrorism. The program, titled Operation IMPACT (Injured Military Pursuing Assisted Career Transition), strives to offer excellent and satisfying positions in which severely injured veterans can apply their valuable talents and experience while developing new skills and meaningful careers. The candidates available through this program offer a variety of impressive and useful skills, education, and experience. Employees can offer support by identifying and referring qualified candidates for employment within their organization and increasing program awareness by sharing information with other Northrop Grumman employees and subcontractors.
