I met Colonel Nett at OCS, and he was inspiring when listing to his accounting of the Battle of Leyte Gulf. He was wounded twice during the battle and chose to stay leading his men. To top that experience off, he had a friend MSG Roy who was a member of the 101st Airborne, and also was at the Battle of the Bulge. Humbleness and awe is how I felt meeting these two great warriors.
