There was a California case back in the 70's where a guy attempted to sue God!
He issued a supeona to God and then sued the San Francisco Sheriff for not serving God. He called a lot of clergy to testify that God was present in the City of San Francisco and therefore the Sheriff's office could theoretically have served him.
The man who brought the suit against the Sheriff got a judgement against the Sheriff's office for $1.00.
Every case since has stated that it was an act of nature not an act of God that caused the incident in question.
I guess some people have too much time on their hands and not enough adult supervision.

This sounds as if it should go to the Supreme Court for resolution as it is recognition of the influence of the "Laws of Nature and of Nature's God" by our Founding Fathers that led directly to their creating The Constitution of the United States of America.
When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.
