Interesting times we're living in. The Bolivian president said much the same to the US embassy in his country the day before.

We should not buy another drop of oil from that idiot. He thinks he has us by the short and curlies with his idle threats about denying us crude oil. The U.S. could be self-sustaining if we really wanted to be. My 2 cents.

We're expelling their ambassador in response.

This is going to get interesting, IMHO. Can only hope that our forces operating in Latin America are fully aware of the situation.

Someone just do us all a favor and get rid of this guy for good. Im no mastermind, but i can think of several ways of making it happen without it directly being linked to the U.S., regardless of how covert it would be, fingers would still point....and at the time, we deny, deny, and then deny some more and dont have to listen to his "yankee this, yankee that". Im not a yankee.

Chavez is like a petulant child who is best dealt with simply by ignoring him. He is too stupid to pose a threat, and as far as oil goes, he needs us far more than we need him.

Seems like it is spreading...

"Honduras has also refused to accept the credentials of a new US ambassador in solidarity with Bolivia"

Their current Gov is from the Left. They are just doing a solidarity thing. The Ambo will present his credentials next week.
