Davis, who is up for re-election, apologized to Obama in a written statement. Now he's going too be in trouble for apologizing.

He should've stuck by what he said and NOT followed the PC crowd.

Stay safe.

There is a fair amount of coverage in MM's column about current and pass PC transgression by the Left..

Not much new, but it's refreshing to see that someone is watching the ASSHAT's on the Left..

Clueless Washington journalist of the day: John Harwood By Michelle Malkin • July 16, 2008 11:12 AM Liberal racism? What liberal racism? How clueless and out-of-touch is CNBC Washington chief correspondent and NYTimes writer John Harwood? This clueless (hat tip -Mark Finkelstein at Newsbusters):

Worth a read,, if you could only get the clueless to read!!!!

I believe that the far sides (Left&Right) will always have someone that puts their foot in their mouth,, something to do with human genes..

The problem, do you bring out the PC Gestapo or do you argue the 1st amendment,,

I think it best not to make stupid statements in the 1st place.. I think rationale and intelligent people will try not to make themselves look stupid by belittling others,, but in the heat of battle/politics/sex...: o

As my cube mate in basic use to say:

"Stupid is as stupid does. "

I think the congressman's word choice was ill considered. (It would have been brilliant if he'd drawled "The homeboy is saddity.")

That being said, every time someone makes a point about Senator Obama's character or experience he or his supporters side track the issue rather than address the point head on. He clearly wants it both ways: to be a man of the people and also hold the people in contempt if they dare disagree with him.

He is applying for a job and wants to decide which questions his interviewers (we, the voters) get to ask, how we get to ask them, and if he'll even answer them. If that's not arrogant, I don't know what is.
