Knifemaker S.F.Popp

Just found a Bowie in the back of my safe that I had forgotten about. It;s stamped S.F.Popp on one side and 14 on the other. I remember I traded something for it in the mid 90's but don't remember anything else about it.
Does anyone know anything about S.F.Popp? I can take pics if it will help.

IIRC, Popp used to make knives and sell them at gun shows in Fayetteville years ago.

Thanks, I was pretty sure that's what I remembered being told about it. Obviously Popp quit making knives because I can't find anything about him by searching the internet.
