We just got hit with a pretty good shaker here at 1141. :eek: 5.8 29mi ESE from downtown LA.

5.8 @ 18:42 UTC for greater LA area!! Pretty big shake.
Lots of activity offshore of Oregon about ten, or so, days ago.

Actually, it's in storage pretty close to the epicenter. The guy next to us has a truck camper that's perched on a pretty rickety looking rack. I figure the storage lot folks would call me if it got crunched.

Give me 3 digit temps any day. I was hoping for a week or so of 120+ this summer. (It helps keep the 'riff raff' out of the area.) Except for those 3 digit temps and illegals all over the place, it isn't so bad here - no quakes, tornadoes, floods (okay... every once in a while we have a series of '100 year floods'), hurricanes, or huge forest fires (well, at least where the 3 digit temps dwell)! Even our "tree-hugging liberals" make more sense than the usual variety.
