CREATION and EVOLUTION

A little girl asked her father: -"How did the human race appear?"
Father: "God made Adam and Eve and they had children and so was all mankind made."

Two days later the girl asked her mother the same question.

Mother: "Many years ago there were monkeys from which the human race evolved."

The confused girl returned to her father. Girl: "Dad, how is it possible that you told me the human race was created by God, and Mom said they developed from monkeys?'

Father: "Well, dear, it is very simple. I told you about my side of the family and your mother told you about hers." :D

And you have touched upon one of the most unintelligent arguments on the planet.

And one of the reasons Albert Einstein was quoted as saying: "Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe."

This is the creationist favorite argument (and a flat out lie) but the stupid believe it, so it must be true.

Fact, Homo sapiens sapiens did not evolve from monkeys.

I think the belief is there was a common ancestor somewhere way back, which then split, one way evolving into modern primates like chimpanzees, gorillas, orangutans, etc...and the other evolving into hominids, of which then we humans became the dominant hominid and either killed off the others or out-bred them or something.

I think there is more difference between a chimpanzee and a gorilla than between a chimpanzee and a human. There is only about a 3% difference between us and them.

They are warlike too I believe, any time some eco-lover says that animals don't kill for fun, tell them to look at chimps.

If you look far enough back every creature on this planet would have a common ancestor.

And yes the current theory is man and apes evolved from a common ancestor, man took one path and apes another.

There’s currently enough scientific evidence on the internet to allow those that can read the opportunity to make intelligent decisions on this subject. I’d start with the universities that have no affiliation or connection to any religion. (And watch out for the PhD’s with absolutely no training in archaeology, anthropology, genetics etc.)
