Yesterday The Ticket broke the stunning news of America's acquisition of seven, maybe eight, new states, according to future president Barack Obama.

He was speaking at the start of a two-day swoop through Oregon, which is already a state.

In Beaverton, which is not a state yet, the Democrat let it slip that during this marathon 16-month party presidential nomination struggle against a bunch of dropouts and this female political zombie from New York who won't surrender short of a silver stake, he had already visited 57 states with one more to go.

He says that he's campaigned in "Every State in the Nation, except Alaska and Hawaii", because his staff won't let him, and that he's been to "57 states with one left to go".

So by this math, there are now 9, possibly 10, New States.

Let's see.....could some of them be.....

The State of Confusion.

The State of Denial.

The State of Intoxication.

The State of Wedded bliss (which is smaller in size than R.I.).

The State of Affairs. (Bill Clinton and Babba Wawa would know about this state).

Utah men say they drove to 48 states, more than 7,000 miles

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - Three men say they drove to 48 states in less than five days, ending their journey in the Four Corners area of southeastern Utah. The Four Corners destination allowed them to quickly hit four states—Utah, Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona.
The men arrived there Thursday around 6:30 p.m., after driving for 106 hours and 43 minutes. They started in Vermont on Sunday.

Josh Keeler, Adam Gatherum and Joey Stocking rode 7,000 miles in a 2005 Toyota Scion. They say their longest stop was 15 minutes for gas and a bathroom break.

They spent more than $1,000 on gas.
