Dad was laid to rest by the men of the Old Guard on a beautiful weekend before memorial day.

It was one of the most memorable moments of my entire life.

The Old Guard did a spectacular job and sent him off with honor befitting a warrior.

I have a newfound respect for the job the ceremonial units do.

To those of you that have ever served with the Old Guard or with a military burial detail, I offer my sincerest thanks, you have no idea how muchyour service means to a grieving son.
