Now I'm just an AF Aerovac guy but I know the AF gets pissed at us for posting pics of our Survival Training. Found these pics someone took at Robin Sage; http://news.webshots.com/album/421555949gtbLHL?start=0
Shouldn't this tool have been told not to post these up?
Well, no OPSEC there, just somebody in love with themself.
Most of the pictures are very teenage childish and could have been taken in a back yard - yeah, we know where they were taken.
So you guys in the pipeline see what you may have to work with out there.:D
Pete
The Fayetteville Observer publishes better "action" pictures of Robin Sage.
Used to participate in a USAFIA funded program in this area. Wouldnt think of taking pics. Course ours was a bit different and anonymity was paramount. Like Pete says though, just like being on the cover of the Rolling Stone.

Yeah, the patches give that one away.
The students never know which band of happy Gs they'll get.

They are going to regret that shit when they get into the Army.
They are going to regret that shit when they get into the Army.
They seemed to like taking pictures of the 1 SWTG trucks for some reason.
I thought they had better things to do with their time in the summer.

Based on the 2005 date, thats also the last summer they sent Cadets (as far as I know). Probably because of stuff like this. I was especially dismayed to see them flagging each other with their rifles... I was there the same summer they were, just not that group. Thankfully.

It's scary to think that some of these pinheads may be OFFICERS now!

when you have a picture titled "The ##### we did when not being supervised," it makes you cringe and wonder how these 'kids' represent the Army and the US of A overseas

You should see what the Gs looked like and did when they were Cosmonites.
Anyone who has not yet seen a lieutenant do something stupid, or done it yourself, raise your hand.

Dang, TR. You probably just killed the thread with that question.:D
I know for a fact that two guys in those pictures are now officers. I went to school with them before I graduated.
Must of been this guys first time ever in the field....
How come I didn't get any female Gs in 68? Back then, they kept all the female troops behind the barbed wire at the WAC shack...or don't you remember?;)

Yeah and got caught a few times doing infil/exfil techniques training. Took a couple of practices until I had it down pat. :lifter :D

It could be worse, remember the "Tender Hearted Killer" episode that was printed in a hometown newspaper detailing all kinds of BS that was lapped up by the MSM?
I was in O&I (AKA: Oh My Eye!) when that hit the motorized oscillator.

OK Stop Posting and Re-Read your welcome e-mail and Post the Intro you should have done 3 Post ago.
Senior ROTC Cadets spending their summer training camp supporting Robin Sage; definitely not Hudson High 3rd LTs.

I'm not appalled. In fact, this is perfect. Very realistic in terms of G's. I've seen real life G's do waaaay worse. It is sobering, however, that one, or more of these guys, are officers now. But, as an LT I did stupid stuff (just nothing like this).

At least nothing that was (1) photographed or videotaped by someone's cell phone camera and (2) posted on the WWW. I am sooooo glad we didn't have those things when I was younger and less...ummmm...impulsive. IMO some thiings were better old school. ;)

We had Cosmo-nauts when I went through Robin Sage. They were Helicopter mechanic. Phase three started Nov 1 and ran almost to Thanksgiving.
"There we were . . . it was a dark and stormy night . . . " we had to scoot out of the G-Base. (It was such a nice comfortable base too! Hootches and a big firepit, water close by.) So were herding these guys down the old carriage paths and we've been walking a few hours in the dark, and the wet, and the cold. (And they have no idea where we are but I'm sure they thought we were lost.) As we're stopped for a map check I was trooping the line I overheard one guy complaining "Man, this sh!t is not worth a Three Day Pass!" I leaned over and whispered "You think that sucks? Todays Veteran's day, It's the middle of a Four Day Holiday."

No, wrong patch. They are definitely not from Hudson High School. Probably a local ROTC unit or possibly VMI. I'll have to pass on your name for USMA cadets to my son though, he'll get a kick out of Hudson River riff-raff. He's a ring knocker from 88.
I have seen that patch all over Ft. Bragg I think its a national guard patch, not sure but its a little up setting to see the comments on some of them, people think they are SF, they are fake dumb ***es on an FTX.

Didn't bother to read the rules and stickies here, or just figure that they do not apply to you?
Come on, you have been a member here long enough to know the deal.

This place...It looks really familiar
http://news.webshots.com/photo/1421591643070715893aiLOVW
Is this the area that has an old farm house and barn very near by? I know, I know very vague question, I am sure there are a million barns and famhouses out there. This one would have been occupied by a squad of government forces until other forces.... well, you know.
Just trying to see if this was some place I had been.
Finally took the time to go through all of the pics and they're a bunch of 2 1/2 LTs - kadidiots - from UNC-Chapel Hill as ID'd by their combat patches. I'd wager their PMS would love to review these pics with them in a closed-door session AAR. ;)

That photo album was created on Aug 13, 05 and I just went through there in May 09 and yes there is an old farm house, barn and a few sheds close to that picture you provided a link to
College kids are still kids, they'll grow up...Cadets never really get into the field and RS must be the first 'exciting' thing they've done...harmless pics.
Just ran into one of my old cadets...he's a Bn Cmdr in 10th Group and doing real well...he may have done some silly crap as a cadet too.

Doesn't change the fact they are douchebags. :)
Dont fret, their first deployment, investigation, or three days straight of staff duty will awaken them into the world of grownups. However they should realize pictures like this arent going to help them get tail.
